In-Person, Manual Volunteer Support Back to School

Volunteers are ready to help with building PPE kits, tech/supplies distribution, supporting registration, re-arranging classrooms, helping in the front office, and more! 


Volunteers are REQUIRED to: 

  1. Have already signed our waiver

  2. Be healthy (meaning that they have no underlying health conditions and no symptoms for cold or flu, including cough or fever over 100 degrees) 

  3. Be under the age of 65

  4. To your knowledge, have not had contact with COVID-19-positive individuals in the past 2 weeks

  5. Be willing and able to follow safety and social-distancing protocols, including, wearing a facemask and gloves at all times. Volunteers are required to provide their own facemasks and gloves. OPEF are NOT able to distribute supplies for volunteers to use.

Point of Contact 
This person will meet the volunteer at the school to explain tasks, OR, be available via Facetime, GoogleDuo, or other visual apps to instruct the volunteer.

Please choose carefully because one of the times you select will be automatically assigned to your school.

Next Steps for Hosting Volunteers to Help with Back to School Support
  • We will send you a google calendar invite to notify you of when your school has been scheduled to host the community volunteers. 
  • We will email introduce you to your volunteers as soon as they've been recruited. 
  • Once you've been connected, please let the volunteers know how they'll be helping at your school beforehand so that they plan accordingly.
